A graduate of the University of Toronto and veteran adjunct professor at the institution, Hasan has built an impressive record of defence and advocacy work, exemplified most recently in the high-profile case of his client Umar Zameer<\/a>. We are excited to welcome Hasan for a wide-ranging conversation about his life, career and an exploration of the dynamics at play in a case at the centre of a media, societal and political firestorm.<\/p>\r\n<\/div><\/div>\r\n Digital Privacy: Best Practices in Designing Online Consent<\/strong><\/p>\r\n In this session, Professors Jonathan Obar and David Gelb of York University will share the results of their research on best practices in making online consent meaningful. The SLI is a two-day conference, held in downtown Toronto. The event features experts talking about emerging areas of law and key issues facing the justice system in Ontario. It has become a late-summer staple for many teachers as they prepare to return to the classroom.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n Look out for some of your returning favourites!
