As a member, and then co-chair of OJEN\u2019s London Committee, he promoted student activities such as courthouse visits and mock trial tournaments. He also organized successful\u00a0 professional development conferences for public, separate and independent educators teaching law in and around London. These full-day, conference-style workshops brought teachers together with legal experts and academics speaking on significant legal issues.<\/p>\n
Mr. Hatch recently worked with the school board and the Ministry of Education, to develop a Specialist High Skills Major that allows high school students to earn credit toward the new Court Support Services course offered at Fanshawe College as part of its School of Public Safety program.<\/p>\n
