{"id":18258,"date":"2020-04-20T13:03:21","date_gmt":"2020-04-20T17:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ojen.ca\/?p=18258"},"modified":"2020-04-20T16:05:51","modified_gmt":"2020-04-20T20:05:51","slug":"new-steps-to-justice-modules","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/new-steps-to-justice-modules","title":{"rendered":"New Steps to Justice Modules Available"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Among the resources featured on our <a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/remote-teaching-and-learning\">Resources for Remote Teaching and Learning<\/a> web pages, are Steps to Justice modules on six areas of law.&nbsp; These modules are based on Community Legal Education Ontario (CLEO)\u2019s excellent <a href=\"https:\/\/stepstojustice.ca\/\">Steps to Justice<\/a> website that provides practical information on how to navigate many common legal problems faced by Ontario residents.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students explore legal topics by navigating the practical step-by-step information on the website. They learn how to use the website to find legal information, including the forms, self-help guides and referral information for legal and social services which may be helpful in working through future legal problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p>Check out Steps to Justice workshop modules on these areas of law:<\/p><\/p>\n&nbsp;\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/resource\/steps-to-justice-criminal-law\">Criminal Law<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/resource\/steps-to-justice-debt-and-consumer-rights\">Debt and Consumer Rights<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/resource\/steps-justice-employment-law\">Employment Law<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/resource\/steps-to-justice-family-law\">Family Law<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/resource\/steps-to-justice-housing-law\">Housing Law<\/a><\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/resource\/steps-to-justice-human-rights-law\">Human Rights Law<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each module comes with a PowerPoint classroom presentation, student worksheets, scenarios and a facilitator\u2019s guide and answer sheet. The facilitator\u2019s guide provides detailed instructions on how to deliver the workshop.
