It meets Grade 5 Ontario curriculum expectations in Social Studies in a fun and effective way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A selection of posters will be included in OJEN\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/artandthecourts.ca\/en\/\"><strong>Art in the Courts program<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 an initiative designed to highlight positive community involvement with our courts. Each year students\u2019 posters are selected and sent to courthouses across the province to make courthouses a more welcoming and friendly place for children and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This year, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the program will be shorter than usual (from March to June) and the posters will be scanned and submitted online.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can <a href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/en\/program\/poster-challenge\"><strong>register on our website<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Registration will close on Wednesday, March 31st at midnight.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visit the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/ojen2024.turnbull.co\/program\/poster-challenge\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Poster Challenge web page<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;for more information about how to participate. It includes links to optional lesson plans that will help your&nbsp;students learn about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms and decide what principle is the most meaningful to them.
