Announcing the Spring 2015 Charter Challenge!<\/p>\n<p>Students from anywhere in Ontario can participate in OJEN\u2019s Charter Challenge as an in-class assignment or an extra-curricular option. As Ontario\u2019s only provincial appellate-level mock hearing, the Charter Challenge has students prepare factums in favour of or opposing a\u00a0<em>Charter<\/em>\u00a0argument. While researching their arguments, students have the opportunity to connect online with other students around the province, and pose questions to lawyer mentors about constitutional law issues. Their factums are reviewed and finalist teams selected to argue the case before the Court of Appeal.
