Bigbucks to have several sections of the <em>Federal Elections Financing Act<\/em>&nbsp;declared to be unconstitutional. Mr. Bigbucks alleges that the contribution and spending limits imposed by that legislation infringe his rights under ss. 2(b) and 7 of the <em>Canadian&nbsp;Charter of Rights and Freedoms<\/em>. This resource includes the trial level decision, which provides the basis for the appeal as&nbsp;well as a factum template.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Charter Challenge<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Ontario&#8217;s only provincial appellate-level mock hearing, the <a href=\"\/program\/charter-challenge\" target=\"_blank\">Charter Challenge<\/a> has students prepare arguments of <em>Charter<\/em> issues raised on appeal. While researching their arguments, students have the opportunity to connect online with other students around the province, as well as with lawyer mentors.
